How we build
Watch a house
build itself.
Scroll to follow one of our homes from the first lines on the plan to the finished house: framing, roof, siding and the lights on.
01 · Blueprint
Every home begins
as a set of lines.
Porch, gables and garage are resolved on paper before the first sill is set.
02 · Structure
Framed for
New England winters.
Steep gables to shed the snow, a deep porch for the summers in between.
03 · Material
White clapboard, black
windows, warm cedar.
Chosen to stand up to salt air and age with grace.
04 · Residence
From blueprint
to home.

How a job runs
From first call to the day you get keys.
The same four steps on every job, whether it is a new home, an addition or a remodel.
-
Step 01
A site walk, not a pitch.
Fred walks the house or the lot with you, measures, takes photos and asks how you want to live in the finished space.
-
Step 02
A written estimate.
Every line in writing, so you know exactly what is included before you sign anything.
-
Step 03
Permits in, ground broken.
We file with the town and the conservation commission when needed, then break ground on the date in your schedule.
-
Step 04
Keys and a clean site.
A walk-through punch list, a clean site and your keys.
